Very very curious, what im about to say, I went to Ealing Road School, and left in 72.By then, St.Johns was already derelict, and after school we used to “gain access”(!), and used to find boxes and boxes of little circular red magnets, which for some reason became known as “chalky magnets”.At Ealing Road they became a sort of currency! You could swap 2 Chalkys, for a quarter of pear drops, and I remember you could get a prize conker, at least a “7er”or “8er”, for 4 Chalkys.Early form of Bitcoin! Funny thing is I was think about this a couple of days ago, then see this site
Have you any photos of my old school St Johns in Brook Road Brentford, and when did it close?
